i was only at 1.5 (even) in bios. i pushed my old e6600 all the way up to 1.8 before.

the bios on my 680i goes up to 1.9 *Shock*

(fastest sub - 5GHz CPU @ ocf) wink wink

Honestly I think that has yet to be seen. In like a year or so, if these chips start failing, I can see a lower voltage overhead. But for one to two hour benchmarking sessions I see zero problem with it. I was actually surprised it didn’t take more vcore to push it to that level. Once there it was really happy too. The PI run was very strong.

Normally if your at or close to the limit a chip will run, you will have momentary mouse lockups and sound glitches. This run didn’t have anything like that – I was very happy.
